I saw you at the shop and knew from the get go, you’ll be my black tea pot. You were the last one at the shop, and I held onto you, determined to take you home. The shop keep scribed my name on the label and you became mine!
At home, you were taken in with open wings – the Tea Owls were happy to have you on board!
To start our tea journey, we boiled you, as carefully as possible to start you as a blank slate. I know, little yixing black tea pot, you are awesome right now, but this is to make sure you grow up great.
The Tea Owl and I selected a nice yunnan gold tipped black for you season in.

Time for our first brewing. I’m okay that you sucked some of the flavor, but man, you are a gorgeous little tea pot.
After this, I am determined to make you the best little black teapot. I will lovingly brew golden yunnan with you. We’ll see many steeps together, watching you grow through some ugly phases. I hope one day, little black yixing teapot, that you’ll give back with a great cup of tea.
