Sunday Tea Hoots 12 – Post Hootmas

Hooty-Claus came and now Hootmas is done and I have gathered a bunch of my presents. Really, what do you give a tea drinker who has a lot of tea and is quite particular about tea and their tea ware, plus their husband has told everyone not to gift her any more tea pots?

Tea pot puzzle! Wow, look at all those pretty tea pots! Looks like Bits and Pieces is place to get this tea pot puzzle.

and ALL THE OWL THINGS!

Owl ornaments. My Christmas tree is already heavy in owl, this year, more owl!

My husband got me this really nice owl sculpture made of glass and gold. I remember admiring it at the Strawberry Festival Crafts section months ago. Apparently when I went to the bathroom he sent a friend to buy it for me!

The sculpture is tricky to photo, it has a dualchrome effect so depending how the light catches it, it is rose gold, pink, blue, or purple.

The last present I wanted to show was an unexpected one. Dad said it was kind of a joke, but turned out to be the “impressed everyone” present – an adult colouring book, this one Tropical World by Millie Marotta (amazon affiliate link).

I started this page on Christmas day, and this is my progress 2 days later. Dang these things take awhile to colour!

So far, I quite enjoy the colouring book – it’s something I can do to get out of my head while drinking tea. Holidays are always stressful for me with all the entertaining, cleaning and cooking, so the colouring book was a nice way to chill out after Hootmas.
