Rhubarb and Cream Tea from Whittard of Chelsea – Oolong Owl Tea Review

Rhubarb and Cream Black Tea is a loose leaf black tea blend from Whittard of Chelsea. Where has the love for rhubarb gone? Maybe I’m from the wrong generation or in the wrong area of the US. My deep freeze is FULL of rhubarb. My husband went crazy last year with the lack of rhubarb pies because during off season we couldn’t find frozen rhubarb. This year every time we saw good looking fresh rhubarb we bought it and stashed it in the freezer. Oddly, every time I’m hauling large bags bursting with rhubarb I’ll get asked “what is that?” “How do… Continue reading, hoot!

This tea is part of Simple Loose Leaf‘s huge line up for their tea subscription plan. Tea Owls – Simple Loose Leaf! This place is brilliant! Plum Oolong from New Mexico Tea Company – Tea Review

Plum Oolong is a fruit enhanced wuyi oolong blend. This tea is from New Mexico Tea Company. I do love my dark oolongs and I was pleasantly surprised to see a roasty oolong used in a fruit blend. More often I see green oolong blends as the buttery and floral elements make a great base for fruit. However, I love variety! By the way, love the 2oz packaging  of New Mexico Tea Company teas. They have neat photos or artwork with each tea which I’m a sucker for. I’m slightly worried this Plum Oolong will be tart. I’ve tried a few plum teas, but… Continue reading, hoot!
