White Tea Puer from Shang Tea

I have never come across a tea like Shang Tea’s White Tea Puer. Yes, I’ve seen puer cake and aged white tea pressed into cakes, but what makes this tea different is the processing. They took white tea cultivar (Da Bai/ Da Hao) but they treated it as a puer with withering, rolling, couple days of fermentation before drying. Shang Tea – Tea Review

Today we will be checking out two teas from Shang Tea! I’ve heard of Shang Tea before, and have been recommended to them a few times for excellent white teas. For sampling today I have Jasmine Snow Dragon and Cinnamon Wu-Long. By the way, Shang Tea will be at the Midwest Tea Festival on June 6th 2015 in Kansas City, MO!
