Hello Tea Peeps! I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas filled with great tea and sweets!
It seems I’ve come to a time that people don’t buy me tea things often. I mean, I have so much tea and so much tea ware, I can see it being hard to find something I don’t have. Of course, I have a list of things I do want (cough, tea table, cough), but as usual, surprise gift items are more fun than buying off my list. My husband joked about buying me a Costco sized box of Bigelow tea as a gift. EWW. Crossing my fingers that I never get a box of Lipton as a gift.
However, I did get some cool tea items for Christmas 2013 that I wanted to share on top of the cool owl and tea christmas ornaments I got. A Tea Haul! First off, my In-laws did a crazy awesome cruise from Los Angeles to Chile. On the way, they grabbed some interesting presents.
A wooden tea pot….? Hmmm, apparently it can be used to make tea, though I am unsure how good of a pot of tea it would make. If any of you tea peeps have a wooden tea pot? Tips?
The wooden tea pot looks quite nice inside and has a smooth finish. I can see pouring the tea would be interesting with that narrow spout.
My In-laws also snagged me a mate gourd and a bombilla from Argentina. I also got a matching gourd owl, who looks already wired on mate!
Finally, I received a robot tea infuser. This robot also looks wired on caffeine. Mmmm, I am ready to stuff tea inside his robot parts and make tasty tea!
I STEEP YOUR TEA BEEP BLOOOOP! SLLLUURRRRRP! PU’ER PARTY TIME!
If only I can have the robot make pu’er for me.
