Zhushan Oolong from Goe Tea via Tealet – Oolong Owl Tea Review

Zhushan Oolong is a high oxidized Taiwanese oolong from Goe Tea. I received this tea from Tealet. Tealet has more information on the tea grower – but the summary is Goe Tea, traditionally making light oxidation oolongs, has been playing with more oxidized oolongs with tasty results. Looking more into this tea, I found I could get it from Goe Tea, though a definite language barrier for me. Phatty Cake II is a 2013 ripe/shu pu’er. This 100 gram pu’er cake is exclusively sold at Mandala Tea, Oolong Owl favorite online tea seller based in Rochester, MN. This cake is the sequel to Mandala Tea’s Phatty Cake (the first?), which at this time is still available for purchase. The floor wasn’t as crowded, however there was a sense of hectic buying frenzy in the air – tea buyers making final decisions and swamping popular booths. Lemon French Macaron White Tea is a white indian tea tea with almond slivers, amaranth, calendula and vegan organic natural flavoring. This tea is blended and sold by Butiki Teas, online tea seller in New Jersey, USA. I love lemon desserts – lemon pound cake, lemon bars, lemon cookies and lemon meringue pie!
