19 Year Old Lishan High Mountain Laocha from Tributary Teas

Among the other Taiwanese High Mountain teas, Tributary Teas has an aged 19 year old Lishan. Not often do I come across aged high mountain teas, so trying this Lisahn Laocha will be a treat. My sample package says 18 years as I got this tea in 2019. Leaf and Steeping Method Leaf smells like roast and cherry wood. I used 1 gram of leaf per 15ml of vessel size, gongfu steeped in boiling water. Steeped up, the leaves have a creamy nutty scent. Roasted Shanlinxi, Muzha Tieguanyin, and Qilaishan High Mountain Oolong from Tributary Teas

Oolong Owl is back with more Tributary Tea’s oolongs! In my previous post, I drank their Nangang Baozhong, which was excellent. I have a sample collection of their oolongs I thought were captivating from their website descriptions. That said, the teas today are Shanlinxi Roasted, Muzha Tieguanyin Spring, and Qilaishan High Mountain. Spring 2019 Nangang Competition Grade Baozhong from Tributary Teas

I lately have been having an obsession with the old-style Nangang Baozhong. Modern Baozhong, the high floral fronted low oxidized oolong, I love in the spring and summertime. The old school traditional Nangang Baozhong I find I can drink all year round as it’s less floral and more hearty.
