Guava Cadabra is a caffeine-free herbal fruit blend from DAVIDsTEA. This blend features mango, apple, hibiscus, elderberries, and guava crunchies. Guava Cadabra is DAVIDsTEA‘s Tea of the Month for July 2013.   Guava seems to be an uncommon ingredient in tea. Actually, even seeing guavas in stores is uncommon, unless I go to specialty markets. Guavas remind me of a coworker I had who would often eat them like a giant apple – walking around the office with this large green fruit in his hand, taking large bites out of it. Mad Tea Party Blend from Disney Wonderland Tea – Tea Review

Mad Tea Party blend is an indian black tea flavored with peach, apricot, ginger, safflower and calendula petals. This tea was purchased at Disneyland, under the brand Disney Wonderland Tea. My best friend/sister loves going to Disneyland. Of course, since I now live in Southern California, when she came to visit me, she went to Disneyland, like she does every time she’s in the area. Me? Strawberry Daiquiri Honeybush is a fun, drink inspired blend from 52 Teas / Zoomdweebie’s. This limited time, tea of the week blend is also caffeine free! I bought this tea immediately. No “let’s wait and see if it’s popular” or procrastinating. Though, with 52 Teas, if one procrastinates, it should be kept to a minimum as the teas can sell out! I love 52 Teas honeybush blends. Pondi Cherry from New Mexico Tea Company – Tea Review

Pondi Cherry is a herbal fruit blend featuring cherries, cranberries, raspberries, elderberries, hibiscus and blackberries. This herbal tea is from New Mexico Tea Company.   Similar to the Lady Hannah tea review, this 1oz sampler wasn’t labelled, thus my terrible handwritten label. I keep a stack of labels next to the tea stash as I stick on notes about the tea, like steeping instruction changes.  DRY LEAF: Well.. not actually leaf in this tea. Dried fruit chunks and bits? Peach Oolong from Della Terra Teas – Tea Review

Oolong Peach is an oolong and green tea blend featuring peach flavoring and rose hips. This tea blend comes from Della Terra Teas. I snagged this as a free sample with my Della Terra Teas order during one of those “30% off and free sample” deals. Nice sample size – enough for 2-3 cups of tea. DRY LEAF: Interesting dry leaf appearance – theres a mix of tightly bunched dark oolong with some longer thinner tea leaves, as well as some finer green tea pieces, along with a couple peachy colour rose buds. Pomegranate Magnolia White Tea is a unique blend from Upton Tea Imports, an online tea seller. This tea is from my first Upton Tea Imports order! Wonders of Kashmir from Della Terra Teas – Tea Review

Wonders of Kashmir is a unique white and green tea blend featuring sweet corn, pineapple, papaya and jasmine. This tea is from Della Terra Teas, an online tea seller of some really creative blends. I bought this tea purely on crazy unique value. Corn? Fruit? Jasmine? YEAH! DRY LEAF: Wonders of Kashmir features some nice big leafy tea mixed with large corn kernels and cubes of fruit. Giant corn! Jasmine Blueberry from Art of Tea – Tea Review

Jasmine Blueberry is a floral and fruity green tea blend from Art of Tea. DRY LEAF: Interestingly, the dry leaf smells mostly like blueberries! Just a smidgen of jasmine scent. The dry leaf consists of tightly spun dark green tea accented with dime sized blueberries, with the odd jasmine bud. STEEPED: I followed the steeping instructions of 185F for 5 minutes. Geeze, I haven’t steeped a tea for this long for awhile. While I wait 5 minutes, I grabbed a jellyfish to share my tea with. White Pu-erh: Mandarin Orange is an aged white tea pu-erh presented inside a real mandarin orange! This tea is from New Mexico Tea Company. The description of making this White Pu-erh: Mandarin Orange tea: “From the careful plucking of centuries old tea bushes, to the rolling on wide wicker baskets to the natural wood fires used to flash heat the mandarin orange peel, everything is done entirely by hand. Firing the orange peel serves to kill any microorganisms that may be present.” Okay, that is hardcore.
