Guava Cadabra is a caffeine-free herbal fruit blend from DAVIDsTEA. This blend features mango, apple, hibiscus, elderberries, and guava crunchies. Guava Cadabra is DAVIDsTEA‘s Tea of the Month for July 2013.   Guava seems to be an uncommon ingredient in tea. Actually, even seeing guavas in stores is uncommon, unless I go to specialty markets. Eight Treasures Yabao from Verdant Tea – Tea Review

Eight Treasures Yabao is a blend of yunnan green jasmine, silver buds yabao pu’er, goji berry, marigold, vanilla bean, honeysuckle, rose and elderberry. This unique tea is from Verdant Tea. This blend caught my eye last year, but I didn’t jump on it, then it eventually went out of stock. When Verdant Tea restocked this tea for the season, it prompt me to do my first order with them. Rhubarb + Custard from Bluebird Tea Co. – Tea Review

Rhubarb + Custard is a red rooibos blend tea. This funky tea blend is from Bluebird Tea Co.   I love rhubarb! I’m very happy that rhubarb is back in season. My husband waited months and months for rhubarb to come in season, and I immediately made him 2 pies that he ate on his own. Sadly, it seems our local stores rhubarb is pretty sad looking nor could I grow it where I live now, thus rhubarb is a special treat. Pomegranate Magnolia White Tea is a unique blend from Upton Tea Imports, an online tea seller. This tea is from my first Upton Tea Imports order! I love that all their teas come in inexpensive sample sizes, so I can try a bunch of teas before committing to buy a large size. Wonders of Kashmir from Della Terra Teas – Tea Review

Wonders of Kashmir is a unique white and green tea blend featuring sweet corn, pineapple, papaya and jasmine. This tea is from Della Terra Teas, an online tea seller of some really creative blends. I bought this tea purely on crazy unique value. Corn? Fruit? Jasmine? YEAH! DRY LEAF: Wonders of Kashmir features some nice big leafy tea mixed with large corn kernels and cubes of fruit. Giant corn! White Pu-erh: Mandarin Orange is an aged white tea pu-erh presented inside a real mandarin orange! This tea is from New Mexico Tea Company. The description of making this White Pu-erh: Mandarin Orange tea: “From the careful plucking of centuries old tea bushes, to the rolling on wide wicker baskets to the natural wood fires used to flash heat the mandarin orange peel, everything is done entirely by hand. Firing the orange peel serves to kill any microorganisms that may be present.” Okay, that is hardcore. Pineberry Honeybush from 52 Teas – Tea Review

Pineberry Honeybush is a caffeine free blend featuring freeze dried pineapple, strawberry and marshmallow root. This tea is from 52 Teas, tea of the week for April 8th, 2013. What the bleep is a pineberry? Lemmie wikipedia it for you. Pineberries are smaller than strawberries, but have a taste of both pineapple and strawberry. Funky! I was hoping to find some for when I reviewed this tea, but no luck. I don’t think I’ve ever seen these fruits in person, and I’ve see some weird ones like kiwi berry/grape things. Laoshan Black Chocolate Genmaicha is a genmaicha blend from Verdant Tea. This blend features Verdant’s Laoshan Black, a little Shui Jin Gui Wuyi Oolong, hand crafted wild rice from Minnesota, and organic fair trade toasted jasmine rice. Oh, and organic cacao nibs. I really wanted to try Laoshan Black and this blend, but I was on a budget. So I opted to get an 1 oz of this blend, as I tend to drink more blends than straight unflavored teas. King of Fruits from Lupicia – Tea Review

King of Fruits is a green tea durian fruit blend from Lupicia, a lovely online japanese tea seller. DURIAN!! O_O You know, this evil fruit: Durian smells funky. Like sweaty onions’ gym socks. Onions wear gym socks? I’ve had durian a handful of times, but mostly in bubble/boba tea. I could probably convince my husband to buy one, but he doesn’t have a great sense of smell so he’ll be fine – but the durian smell will probably drive the rest of my house crazy. Organic Japanese Puerh is a unique offering from Butiki Teas. I’ve never heard of a japanese puerh, so I had to add this tea to my cart with my last Butiki order. DRY LEAF: The tight, chippy looking black leaf smells a little like cocoa and tobacco. STEEPED (Gaiwan): Lovely reddy peach amber colour!
