Lupicia Honolulu – Oolong Owl’s Cruise to Hawaii part 3

During my cruise to Hawaii, I was lucky to go to Lupicia in Honolulu! I’ve been to the Lupicia in Torrance, California, but their location in Honolulu is much bigger and appears to carry more of their tea lineup. Lupicia is located in Ala Moana Center, on the ground floor. It was really easy to find, at least for me as I was entering from where the buses and trolleys unload. After some brief wandering around the mall, I found it! Whoa, big store! Fleury Doux Champagne is an organic white peony and ceylon black tea blend with rose petals and muscatel grape flavor. This fancy tea blend is sold by Art of Tea, US tea seller. Organic Herbal Blue Tea from BlueChai – Oolong Owl Tea Review

BlueChai is a caffeine free, organic herbal  butterfly pea flowers tea sold by BlueChai.com. These flowers are harvested in Northern Thailand. I ordered a free sample of BlueChai, I didn’t look much into what this tea was. A spicy tea? Though, it is confusing that “chai” can also just mean “tea”. Once I got the package, on the label, it states “pea flowers”. I’ve never had pea flower tea, so trying this tea will be fun! Dry Leaf Really pretty, chunky, big leafed blue flowers with yellow centers, dressed with the odd green stem and leaf. Not much scent to these flowers.… Continue reading, hoot!

Mountain Organic Indonesian Black is high altitude black tea grown at high altitude on the Halimun Mountains. This tea is sold by Tea at Sea, online Canadian tea seller. Nan Nuo Mountain (Nan Nuo Shan) is a green, unfermented 2012 Spring pu’er from the Nan Nuo Mountain area. This cake is specifically from a village of Bang Po Lao Zai in Southern Yunnan. This exclusive pu’er is from Jalam Teas, a monthly pu’er tea club. A little on  Jalam Teas – for $19 a month (plus shipping), they’ll send you a hand sourced, limited quanity 100 gram pu’er cake. Coconut Dream is an organic Korakundah estate black tea with coconut. This tea blend is from New Mexico Tea Company, an US tea seller. I’m in a tropical kind of mood.
